I've been writing for about seven years, this is the first time I've had a blog. I will be posting my fiction writing and possibly some poems and other various works. I hope to someday become an author or journalist, or even a screenwriter. Writing is my passion and has been since I was a child. I'd also like to add, I wrote several of these pieces in 8th grade, and continue to pursue my dream in high school.
Hello dear Shannyn. I just came to your new blog, which I think is fantastic. It's overdue that you should have your own writing blog. I look forward to visiting it often, and reading your excellent writing and posts.
ReplyDeleteNow you have a blog, and now it's your "baby", and now it's up to you what you do with it. I have high hopes for what you do with it, and for the writing you post. I do know for sure, without a whisper of a doubt, that you are an excellent writer, and that it's your "gift" from God. Not your only gift, but a major, important gift.
I am your aunt, and close to your dad, my brother, and close also to your mother. And close to you too, and I love the fact that you love writing and are so very good at it. I can relate so much to that, because I've always loved writing myself, but never really persued it past my teenage years.
However, you can do that, and you should do that. I really, totally believe that you can be very successful with your writing, and make an important impact on other people. I totally believe in YOU and want to encourage and support you in this endeavor. Yes, it's a very special and personal DREAM of yours, but you have what it takes to achieve your dream. I totally know that, and you need to know that too.
I love you, and recognize your wonderful gift, and am often awed by your skill and talent at writing. As I've advised you before, persue it and use it well. If you do, I KNOW you will be successful at it.
